Corker: Trump's Recklessness Threatens WWIII
President Donald Trump’s recklessness threatens World War III, Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., told The New York Times Sunday night.
Corker, the Republican chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, told the Times he was distressed about having a president who acts "like he's doing 'The Apprentice' or something" and treating the White House like a "reality show" with threats to other nations that could send the U.S. "on the path to World War III."
"He concerns me," Corker added. "He would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation."
Trump bashed Corker on social media Sunday morning and Corker hit back, saying: "It's a shame the White House has become an adult day care center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning."
Trump taunted Corker over his decision to not seek re-election in 2018, charging he "didn’t have the guts to run." The president said Corker decided against running because Trump wouldn't endorse him. Trump also said Corker wanted to be Secretary of State and, he said "NO THANKS."
